Today is the first day of summer break for Tootie. We had a wonderful morning, getting out of bed at 9 am. Then it was straight downhill from there. She has bossed Moggie around beginning with telling her exactly how to eat her breakfast, how to sit and when to swallow. She's appointed herself Queen of the World and has ended up in her room for some quiet time here at 10:30. I can't wait for August.

If I don't find a way to send my kids to camp I'm officially having a nervous breakdown.
Oh I'm sure we will both have days that a nervous breakdown seems like a good idea. No screaming, fighting, complaining kids around. Happy pills flowing like water. Sounds like vacation!
And little Miss. Moggie will allow herself to be bossed around. LOL
THAT is the main reason I LOVE year-round school. It's only 3 week breaks every 10 weeks, and my gosh are we all ready for those 3 weeks to be over.
Find a summer camp for them asap! I'm so glad the kids can keep going to school through the summer. Cayden's got 3 different summer camps going on at her school and she's participating in all of them! Of course I'm working so not reaping the benefits of alone time with her gone but hell if I were home she'd still be in summer camp 3 days a week!! LOL
